Keynote Speaker: Barbara Chance
Barbara Chance is President and CEO of CHANCE Management Advisors, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA, USA. The firm is in its 25th year of providing consulting services in the areas of parking, transit and transportation, sustainable solutions, and transportation demand management. Dr. Chance holds a B.A., magna cum laude, and an M.A. from Kansas State University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln. She has held academic positions at the University of Texas at Austin, Temple University, and the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Chance has served as the consultant member of the Board of Directors for the International Parking Institute, and is currently serving on the Board of Advisors. She has taught the Parking Management section of the Certified Administrator of Public Parking (CAPP) program, developed by the International Parking Institute and the University of Virginia, since its inception over a decade ago. Active in regional business affairs, she served as the first woman Chairman of the Small Business Board of Directors for the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
The two-day workshop will open with a tour of the campus parking facilities. A program will be distributed and posted on the website as it becomes available.
Registration Fees: $250 for PAA members, $350 for non members with a maximum of 75-80 participants directly involved in tertiary parking management.
Representatives from Universities and other organizations in the education industry will be invited to register first, any other interested delegates will be registered after September 2011 based on availability.
